What is the SearchSwitchSave Group?

The SearchSwitchSave Group is a privately-held UK media and software business focused on broadband, mobile and utilities consumer comparison. We own and operate a network of consumer-facing comparison and content brands with combined domain authority that places us among the most-cited independent UK broadband publishers. We also build software for UK broadband and mobile brands, and we hold a portfolio of premium UK broadband domains.

What sites does FBRE operate?

The SSS Group network covers the full UK broadband and mobile consumer journey:

• BroadbandSwitch.uk: full-fibre and broadband switching, DR 74.
• Fibreswitch.com: One Touch Switch journey and full-fibre comparison, DR 73.
• UKSpeedTest.co.uk: UK speed test utility, DR 73.
• SearchSwitchSave.com: broadband, mobile and utilities comparison, DR 72.
• ParentalControl.uk: online safety and safeguarding (see our safeguarding moat page).
• Plus 14 live additional comparison and content sites and 14 in-build, taking the network to 33 sites by end of 2026.

Verified network reach in the 12 months to 24 May 2026: 12,000,000+ verified impressions across all channels and 730,000+ network clicks per year (rolling average of 2,000+ per day, rising fast). What services does FBRE offer?

Our commitment to UK consumers

FBRE is the visible commercial layer of a 20-site UK network. Seven of those twenty sites are affiliate-disclosed commercial sites. Seven are free consumer tools that carry no advertising, no signup, no email capture and no resold data. Six are public-interest sites, including the ParentalControl.uk safeguarding scanner, the BroadbandInsights.co.uk explainer (which explicitly does not sell broadband), the PauseDesk.com wellbeing prompt, two community games and this network hub. The commercial sites fund the rest.

ParentalControl.uk states its mission plainly on its own site: "Built in the UK as a public good for families." BroadbandInsights.co.uk states its scope plainly on its own site: "We don't sell or supply broadband. We explain how it works." Those are the standards we hold ourselves to across the rest of the public-interest tier.

On accreditation, we have approached Ofcom directly about the Price Comparison Accreditation Scheme. Ofcom has agreed to engage and has issued us their Due Diligence pack, which we are actively completing. We do not yet hold accreditation. We will publish the submission, the assessor's findings and the outcome (positive or negative) when complete. Our editorial stance

We are an independent business and we make our money from a mix of tenancy, affiliate revenue, software builds, domain sales and research collaborations. We do not accept payment to manipulate editorial content. We disclose sponsored placements clearly. We publish methodology for every research dataset, and we mark "data pending" rather than estimating where confident numbers are not available.

UK English throughout. We use two spaces after every full stop in body copy as part of our writing style guide. We do not use em-dashes anywhere. We follow UK consumer protection regulation, ASA advertising rules, and Ofcom General Conditions for any switching journeys we operate or build.

Where we are based

Headquarters is Sycamore House, Glen Duff, Lezayre, Isle of Man, IM7 2AT, with a remote UK delivery team and named leads accountable for each pillar (Advertise, Software, Domains, Research, Safeguarding). We use the UK banking system for all transactions: GBP invoicing, UK sort-code and account number, Faster Payments and BACS. VAT is shown separately where applicable. Disputes and escalation: We aim to resolve any commercial or service complaint inside ten UK working days. Where a complaint cannot be resolved bilaterally, telecoms-related disputes can be escalated through the Communications Ombudsman or CISAS (Communications and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme), in line with Ofcom General Conditions.
