What is the UK ISP Commission Database?

UK consumer broadband generates substantial affiliate revenue for comparison sites, content publishers and price-comparison brands. Most UK consumer ISPs operate an affiliate programme on the Awin network, which publicly lists BT (merchant ID 3041), Plusnet (2973), Airband (44469), The One Broadband (119953) and others, with commissions that depend on the customer's chosen tariff, contract length and validation status. Specific rate cards are confidential between the ISP and its affiliate manager, but the presence and route of a programme is public information. This database compiles that public information in one place.

Each row links to the full ISP profile on FBRE.uk and indicates the publicly-observable affiliate route (Awin, in-house, or direct partnership). Specific commission rates are POA via the relevant affiliate manager. The dataset is free to cite with attribution to FBRE.uk.

How should affiliate publishers use this database?

Affiliate publishers: use this database to identify which ISPs run affiliate programmes through Awin (the dominant UK CPS network for telco) and which run in-house. For Awin-listed ISPs, apply through the Awin publisher dashboard. For in-house programmes, contact the ISP's partnerships team directly.

Prospective resellers: some ISPs (notably CityFibre and Netomnia) operate wholesale models where retail partners white-label or co-brand consumer services. Wholesale enquiries are not the same as affiliate enquiries. Use the ISP profile pages for partnership context.

Market analysts: the presence of an affiliate route signals an ISP's openness to third-party distribution. ISPs without a public affiliate route tend to rely more heavily on direct marketing. This is a useful signal of marketing strategy across the UK ISP cohort.

Why are many commission rates marked POA?

Affiliate commission rates in UK telco are confidential between the ISP and its affiliate manager, with rates varying by publisher tier, validation criteria, contract length and tariff mix. Publishing specific rates would breach confidentiality with the ISPs we work with directly. Where a publisher needs specific rates for planning, the route is to apply through Awin or contact the ISP affiliate manager directly.

How is the commission database compiled?

Programme presence is established from public Awin listings, ISP-published partnership pages, and publicly-observable affiliate links on major UK comparison sites. See methodology for full sourcing detail.
